Professor Hou works in the Optical Engineering Department at the School of Precision Instrumentation and Optoelectronics Engineering at Tianjin University, and did her PhD in Physical Chemistry at the University of Groningen, the Netherlands. Professor Hou’s research work is cross-disciplinary, covering a wide range of fields from physics and chemistry to electronics.

Professor Hou’s research focuses on novel smart-responsive optoelectronic devices, and she is committed to transforming her research results into practical products, from the laboratory to applications.
